In a bright blue pond lives Andy Axolotl. One day a plastic bottle sinks down from the surface. Andy doesn't see trash. He hears a song!
With a scrub, a puff and a whole lot of practice, Andy turns the bottle into a bubbly instrument. Soon a zippy Snicklesnack Skedottle, dancing fish, shy old turtles, claw-clicking crabs and shimmering dragonflies are gathering for the biggest bubble concert the pond has ever seen.
Told in bouncy, read-aloud rhyme with bright, joyful illustrations, The Axolotl Who Played a Bottle is a gentle story and the joy of sharing itFriendship and bringing others togetherKeeping ponds clean, and how old things can find a new purposeA perfect bedtime or classroom read for ages 3–7, and a lovely pick for Earth Day.
